VISION

Jesmin Subrina's vision is to improve the health status of humanity, in particular the poorest of the poor women from his native homeland, Bangladesh and to highlight and represent Bangladeshi women in the international society and community of medical research (basic, clinical, translational and community researches).

CONTRIBUTION TO RESEARCH AND LITERATURE

• Outstanding contribution to research related to health science (basic, clinical and population based including social research) and has a long list of national and international collaborators.
• Published more than 80 papers in high impact factor peer-reviewed international journals, as a first author 36. Altogether, the total impact factor of these publications, according to the most recent citation index, is more than 200.
• Total international scientific awards: 15 (awarded in Japan and outside of Japan, mostly USA and Europe).
• Prestigious research fellowships awarded: 5 (including Monbusho and JSPS).
• Research grants obtained: 14 grants (both local and international, as Principal Investigator: 8 major grants in last ten years).
• Participation in international congresses, including various types of presentations, as a presenter: 63, as a co-presenter: 54. Participation in domestic congresses in Japan, including various types of presentations, as a presenter: 68, as a co-presenter: 52, (plus more than 30 invited lectures).
